I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Madrid and South East England. Classically trained as a cellist in a home full of songs, jazz and rock and roll, I now play as many instruments as I can (occasionally at the same time). I learnt how to write songs and scores, amassed an array of obscure instruments, and honed my one-man-bandness. I then studied music composition with Howard Skempton at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in England for three years on a merit-based scholarship (BMus, First Class Honours). I also spent a year at Tokyo College of Music in Japan, where I focused on Asian instruments and composing for film.
I draw and write my own comics and work in photography, animation and film. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree at an undisclosed location.
I am available for recordings and live projects on a multitude of instruments, particularly the cello, saxophone (tenor/baritone), koto, guitar, sitar and daxophone. For an exhaustive list of instruments I am proficient in, contact me below.
